The Thunderbolts Cup, an initiative by Kolkata Thunderbolts launched in 2022, is an elite competition aimed at uplifting the volleyball ecosystem of Bengal and the Northeastern states. The first edition of the men’s Thunderbolts Cup commenced in association with 48 renowned Durga Puja committees of Bengal and engaged 500+ top athletes. A similar edition was hosted for women in association with the best 8 volleyball teams in the state. As the team’s operations keep growing, the Thunderbolts Cup has become a flagship property to find talented volleyball players early and help them reach the pinnacle of success.
